Science and journalism take a vacation
CHEM Trust is financially supported by and promotes the work of Greenpeace, an organization that co-founder Patrick Moore says has become “anti-science, anti-technology and anti-human.”
Learning and succeeding “differently”
“The Oakwood School could serve as a model for schools and special learning programs all over the United States and world. The proven methods it employs, skill sets it teaches and confidence it instills have launched hundreds of children on high school, college, professional and family achievements that likely would have been far beyond their reach, had this school not featured in their early development.”
Do the Math – Count the cash
In reality, numerous scientists disagree with the IPCC on this (and a lot more), and say such moderate warming would probably be beneficial for humans, wildlife and planet.
Increasing clouds and thunderstorms for climate alarmists
“Climate chaos false prophets like Rajendra Pachauri, Al Gore and David Suzuki predicted bigger, deadlier storms and flooded coastal cities, because of global warming. But the opposite has happened.”
Where’s the concern over private sector furloughs?
“The Competitive Enterprise Institute calculates that government regulations, delays and red tape cost American businesses and families over $1.8 trillion annually. That’s half the 2012 U.S. budget, and 10% of our gross domestic product. The impacts on employment are enormous.”
Fallacious claims prop up ethanol
These and other renewable energy programs may have originated for the best of intentions. However, the assumptions underlying those intentions are questionable, at best, and many are rooted in anti-hydrocarbon worldviews and Club of Rome strategies that raised the specter of “looming disasters” like resource depletion and catastrophic manmade global warming, in which the “real enemy” is “humanity itself.”
Taking cancer to the mat – 2013 updates in courage
“Ben’s Code was simple. Survive. Think of cancer as normal, and just live your life. Never cry, complain, show pain or fear. Never question your superior ability to survive, or let cancer make you sad or jealous.”
Real climate science the IPCC doesn’t want you to see
“The graph dramatically demonstrates that every UN IPCC climate model over the past 22 years (1990-2012) predicted that average global temperatures would be as much as 0.9 degrees C (1.6 degrees F) higher than they actually were! Considering how defective the models are, this is hardly surprising.”
To bee or not to bee
“The good news is that the decline in CCD occurrence has some researchers thinking it’s a cyclical malady that is entering a downswing – or that colonies are developing resistance. The bottom line is that worldwide trends show bees are flourishing. “A world without bees” is not likely.”
